Greek Blue
NZ$69.00
This is a warm blue without any green in it. It is a colour found throughout the Mediterranean, often faded and distressed on shutters and woodwork. It has a chalky look about it, yet it is strong and positive.
Greek Blue goes well with Aubusson Blue and Coco.

A French bedside table painted in Greek Blue, rubbed in places with a little dark wax to reveal the texture. Versailles is used inside the drawer.

Nantucket
Add Old White to make Nantucket
Add 2 parts of Old White to 1 part of Greek Blue to give the distinctive colour of Cape Cod.

Cornish Blue
Add more Old White to make Cornish Blue
Mixing 1 part of Greek Blue with 8 parts of Old White makes a seaside blue which you see on traditional Cornish Blue striped mugs and old fashioned lighthouses.

For a cool, sophisticated and subtle look, paint Greek Blue first, then a layer of Château Grey before waxing and rubbing back with sandpaper.
